The trailer for Henry Cavill's final run as "The Witcher" has finally dropped yesterday. The third season of the monster-slaying fantasy series will feature returning characters Ciri (Freya Allan) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) as they navigate bigger and surprising turn of events.

The trailer only gives brief glimpses of each character, and doesn't really clue about what's happening, but it does show Yennefer, Ciri, and Geralt searching for each other in the dark, as well as Geralt saying something about an encounter with a monster that marked the first time he truly felt fear. Most importantly, it gives a few hints that the Wild Hunt are finally entering the picture — which makes sense considering they got teases at the end of season 2 and in the spinoff series "Blood Origin".

Season three of "The Witcher" has been revealed to be split in two parts, with volume one debuting on June 29 and the second releasing on Netflix on June 27. Last year, the streaming platform announced that Cavill will be leaving the franchise, leaving the embodiment of Geralt to actor Liam Hemsworth.
