After gaining a massive response with "The Batman" (2022), DC Studios has now partnered with HBO for its upcoming series, "The Penguin". The spin-off will follow the tale of Gotham's iconic mafia lord, Oswald Cobblepot aka Penguin.

The two studios recently shared an action-pack teaser for the HBO Max original series on their social media accounts.

The post was captioned, "Academy Award nominee Colin Farrell is 'The Penguin'. The new Max original series from Matt Reeves and the next chapter in 'The Batman' saga is now in production. Coming in 2024 to Max."

Directed by Matt Reeves, who helmed "The Batman" last year, the latest DC series features Colin Farrell, Alex Anagnostidis, and Clancy Brown, amongst others.

After featuring marvelous villain-centric films like "Joker" and "The Suicide Squad", "The Penguin" will be the first Batman villain to get his own series.
