Hanif Sanket bringing political satire show for Eid

The National Election is fast approaching. Alongside talk shows, TV shows are also sharing funny stories about the election and candidates. A lot of this work is being done by satire guru and renowned producer-host, Hanif Sanket.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, he has made a special programme called "Panchphoron". Produced under the banner of Fagun Audio Vision, the show will be aired the day after Eid on ATN Bangla at 10:30 pm.

Speaking about the show, Hanif Sanket shared how most parts of the country is in an election mood. He noted that even though they cannot be seen in the area for most of the year, some leaders appear during election season and make a lot of promises. Hanif Sanket continued by saying that this was especially the case during Eid-ul-Azha, with many leaders trying to draw voters to the booths in a variety of ways.

The latest episode of "Panchphoron" will follow one such seasonal leader, who goes to the village during Eid. They plan on taking cows for Qurbani to the village and having a showdown. The episode will follow the various incidents that happen afterwards.

Mir Sabbir will be playing the role of the seasonal leader. Suvasish Bhowmick, Mukit Zakaria, Jamil Hossain and Debashish Mithu will be playing the role of his workers. These actors will primarily be playing the role of the hosts.

The episode will also feature two songs. One of the songs has been sung by Tosiba, with Mahmudul Hasan performing the rap portion of the song. The lyrics for this song have been penned and composed by Plabon Koreshi, while the music has been composed by Mehedi.

The other song has been sung by Syed Ashikur Rahman and written by Jakir Master. The song's music director is Akash Mahmud.

The episode will also feature a variety of satirical, humourous and socially conscious segments.
