‘Gadar 2’ goes on floors: Ameesha and Sunny's looks revealed

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are back together to shoot for their much-awaited sequel "Gadar 2".

Ameesha Patel took to Twitter and Instagram to share photos from the 'muhurat' of her upcoming film.

The actress and her co-star, Sunny Deol, were dressed in their popular characters, Tara Singh and Sakeena. In the photo, Ameesha is seen wearing a mustard yellow kameez, and Sunny is in a maroon kurta, white pajamas, and a turban.

The actress captioned the post, "Gadar 2" muhurat shot. I am really happy that Army General Surendra Singh and Rohit Jaykay were kind enough to grace the occasion."

  The Ameesha-Sunny duo is reuniting 20 years post the release of "Gadar". The sequel will also star Utkarsh Sharma.

Reportedly, the film will be shot in Amritsar and Himachal Pradesh in the coming few weeks, before the peak winter season sets in.

The film is slated to be released in 2022.
