Ethan Slater's estranged wife breaks silence on Ariana Grande relationship

Rumours about Ariana Grande dating her "Wicked" co-star Ethan Slater was all over social media. Ethan added fuel to the controversy by filing for divorce from his wife after his newfound romance with the " 7 Rings" singer was revealed. 

According to TMZ, Slater, 31, filed for divorce with Lilly Jay  in New York on Wednesday. The cause for his breakup with his estranged wife was not disclosed. The actor has yet to make any official comment on it. 

However, his former wife has exclusively told Page Six about Ariana and quoted her as a 'not a girl's girl.'

"Ariana is not a girl's girl. My family is just collateral damage. I am focused on rebuilding a life for our son. This is what I am trying to do, and this is my only focus," said Lilly. 

However, both Ethan and Ariana have been staying separately from their partners for quite some time. Ethan and Lilly have been separated for two months. Ariana ended her marriage with real estate agent Dalton Gomez, after nearly two years of marriage due to long distance. 

Ethan married Lilly in November 2018 after dating for six years. They have a son who was born in August 2022.
