Diana Penty joins Amitabh Bachchan in 'Section 84'

On Monday, the makers of Amitabh Bachchan's "Section 84" revealed that actress Diana Penty had joined the cast. Ribhu Dasgupta—best known for his work on "Te3n" and "The Lady On The Trailer"—wrote and directed the courtroom thriller. Diana remarked that working with Bachchan was a dream come true.

"In my heart, 'Section 84' holds a special place. Not only is it an exciting story, but it is also a pleasure to work with the legendary Mr Bachchan. To be honest, that was a dream come true!," she shared. 

"Ribhu Dasgupta has a very clear vision of what he wants, and I am so happy to be collaborating with him on this film. I know this is going to be an experience to remember, with much to learn from the very best," added Diana. 

The upcoming feature film marks the third collaboration between Bachchan and Dasgupta, following the TV miniseries "Yudh" and "Te3n".

Diana Penty was last seen in the February 2023 release of "Selfiee". Nushratt Bharuccha, Emraan Hashmi, and Akshay Kumar will also be featured in "Section 84".
