Despite precautions, 'Adipurush' leaked online

Just after a few hours of its grand release, Om Raut's Ramayana adaptation "Adipurush" has been leaked online for illegal download on torrent sites. Interestingly, the high definition version has been leaked on the dark sites. 

The film finally was released earlier today, after a long time of keeping fans waiting for it. It stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan. 

The film has a budget of nearly Rs 600 crores, and has sold 4 lakh, 79 thousand and 811 advance tickets till 11 am of June 15. It has surely created a tsunami in the box office already! It was also reported that prices for the tickets were also elevated due to heavy demand.

After "Bahubali 2" and "Pathaan", "Adipurush" stands in the third position of selling highest advance tickets.

The film's online leak has definitely brought a huge threat to the producers and distributors of the production. Even "Pathaan" was affected by the same issue, which had hampered the film's business. Having said that, the team of "Adipurush" also informed the Indian media that they have been taking all the necessary measures to keep the film safe from piracy.
