The inauguration ceremony for Deepto Play was organised at the offices of Deepto TV on Monday, November 28 at 7 pm. Present at the launching, as the Chief Guest, was State Minister of the ICT Division, Zunaid Ahmed Palak.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak kicked-off the event by pressing the play button, officially launching the Deepto Play app on the Google Play Store.

"Deepto TV has been the provider of entertainment for us all since its founding. When the audience were losing interest in cinema halls and TV, causing us to look towards OTT platforms, Deepto TV presented us with a range of quality content," said the State Minister for ICT Division.

Praising Deepto TV's vision and efforts, Zunaid Ahmed Palak continued, "Today streaming platforms are the entertainment hub for the new generation, due to the popularity of Internet. I am fan of Deepto TV's show, 'Sultan Suleiman' and am excited to watch it on the Deepto Play app, whenever I want. I have high expectations from Deepto Play. Also, to show our support, the ICT Division will be providing our own animated films to Deepto Play, to reach an even wider audience."

Deepto Play will be home to a wide range of content, including programmes for families and for viewers of all ages. The platform's 'Deepto Play Originals' will also bring never-before-seen content to the screens for its viewers.

Also coming to the streaming platform will be "Agni Purush", directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud; "Pori", directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi; "Shohore onek Rod" by Mizanur Rahman Aryan and "Aasthey" by Animesh Aich.

Aside from the Deepto Play Originals, all of the popular shows of Deepto TV will also be available on the platform.

Later in the evening, the audience enjoyed an enthralling dance recital performance from Dhriti Nrityalaya, choreographed by the famed Warda Rihab. The night came to a conclusion with a wonderful music performance.

Deepto Play can be accessed on smartphones and smart TVs by downloading the Deepto Play app from the Google Play Store.
