DC announces ‘Shazam 2’ release date

After "Black Adam '' starring Dwayne Johnson appeared before the fans last year, DC has returned with yet another superhero film called "Shazam! The Fury of the Gods". This new production will count as the sequel of  "Shazam" (2019), and is to hit theatres in March 2023.

The DC studio has already announced the release of the movie yesterday on their website and social media, with an action-packed trailer, writing, "It's Time To Grow Up. Shazam! Fury of the Gods – in theaters March 17."

In the new trailer, fans will get to see not one, but multiple 'Shazams' fighting off the descendants of the Greek Titan- Atlas along with Hespera, and Kalypso. Directed by the "Annabelle: Creation" (2017) famed director David F. Sandberg, "Shazam Fury of the Gods" has cast Helen Mirren, Grace Caroline Currey, Lucy Liu, and Zachary Levi, amongst many others.
