Chennai, Bengaluru offices declare holiday for Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ release

After two years, Indian superstar Rajinikanth will be returning to the Tamil film industry with "Jailer", releasing on August 10. Celebrating his return, offices down in Chennai and Bengaluru have decided to declare holiday on the film's release date, even offering free tickets to employees, according to The Economic Times.

"Jailer" marks Rajinikanth's first collaboration with Nelson Dilipkumar. With the release being only two days away, fans are abuzz with excitement, even causing speculation of an explosive box-office opening.

The official trailer for Rajinikanth's "Jailer", was released earlier this month. The trailer also gave a glimpse of Jackie Shroff as he threatens Rajinikanth over a phone call. "Jailer" also stars Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan.
