Bogura gears up for week-long free screening of 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation'

A week-long free screening of the movie "Mujib: The Making of a Nation", based on the biography of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has begun in Bogura. KSM Mostafizur Rahman Shyamal (CIP), a member of the sub-committee on industry and commerce of the Bangladesh Awami League Central Committee, has taken this initiative.

The week-long free screening of the film commenced with an inaugural show at 3 pm at Madhuban Cinema Hall, Bogra, yesterday. Renowned figures like Member of the Awami League Presidium and Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation AHM Khairuzzaman Liton connected virtually to inaugurate the event, with KSM Mostafizur Rahman Shyamal presiding over it.

The event drew attendees from diverse backgrounds, including political leaders, activists in Bogura, representatives of civil society, and administration officials.

The film will be screened free of charge for seven days at Madhuban Cineplex for the people of Bogura, Saryakandi, and Sonatala, regardless of their affiliations.

Starting today, the theatre will continue to run the free film screenings from 12 pm to 3 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm until October 26. To ensure widespread access, transportation has been arranged for film enthusiasts from various locations.
