‘Birkonna Pritilata’ promotion: Tisha and Manoj arrive in Eden college

Pritilata Waddedar, a legendary revolutionary leader, spent the majority of her youth years at Eden College. As part of the promotion, Nusrat Imrose Tisha,  Manoj Pramanik, and Bappa Mazumder, came to the college to promote Pradip Ghosh's upcoming film, "Birkonna Pritilata."

Advocate Rana Dasgupta and former VP of Eden College and educationist AN Rasheda, were present at the event. Journalist Abed Khan was the chief guest at the campaign event.

Pradip Ghosh said, "Since it's a historical film, we really want the students to see it and learn important lessons from it. Students can watch movies at theatres for half the price. We may not be able to profit from it, but at least the student will be able to enjoy it."

Nusrat Imrose Tisha, who played Pritilata in the movie, said, "This is my first time coming to Eden college and interacting with the students here. 'Birkonna Pritilata' is a historical film which teaches women to stand up for what they believe in. Pritilata is every woman's inspiration, and I really hope that everyone will watch the movie."

A song from the movie "Birkonna Pritilata" was released at the event. The lyrics have been penned by the director himself, while Bappa Mazumder composed the music.
