Because of Razz, my image is ruined: Tanjin Tisha
Tanjin Tisha has finally broken her silence on the 'viral video' issue, where personal videos of Sariful Razz, Sunerah Binte Kamal and her were leaked. The actress revealed that she is staying in America for some time to attend two programmes. Due to time difference and busy schedules, she didn't have any idea what was going around in Bangladesh.
The "Ei Shohore Keu Nei" actress posted a lengthy status on her Facebook where she shared her own take on the controversial incident.
"First of all, this whole incident is really horrible. The videos which were uploaded are something personal and have been done as fun between friends. These videos were taken about 6-7 years ago and I don't really want to explain anything about it. Each one of us has our own personal life. I am not giving anyone the right to judge my life. I am requesting my fans to not judge me based on some old videos from 6 years ago. I have been able to achieve success all due to my fans. However, I request everyone to separate my acting life from my personal life. I am sorry if I have upset you with my personal videos," said the actress.
The actress also addressed the problematic headlines which have been used against her in various channels, newspapers and online portals.
"I am really disgusted by the headlines 'Sariful Razz and Tanjin Tisha's private video leaked'. I really want to ask you guys where you can see Razz in the video. It didn't contain any intimate or obscene moments, rather it captured my personal moments only. So please don't use 'private or secret video leak' regarding me as it's really offensive and disrespectful," added the actress.
According to the small-screen actress, uploading someone's personal videos violates that person's privacy, and spreading those videos without their knowledge is a serious felony.
"I will take legal action against the person who uploaded my video on their ID. I believe the audience can easily guess who might have uploaded it. I don't want to say anything right now as I will take necessary actions as per the prevailing laws of our country. I believe our legal system will bring forward the real culprit who has tried to ruin my image," stated the actress.
On the other hand, Sariful Razz posted a lengthy status where he condemned the leaking of the videos. However, Tanjin Tisha wasn't happy with the apology post as she called out the actor for not properly searching for the real culprit and being nonchalant on the whole issue.
"What's the point of expressing your grief over the whole issue now. Just because of you, some of us girls' images have been ruined. People have started questioning their personal life and career. They are being humiliated in front of their families. All of these videos were captioned with such silly captions that the whole friendly moment was turned into something outrageous. Don't you think you are responsible for this? You are the one who said that your id was hacked. What are you doing from your side? Why are you not taking any legal steps? Why are you not trying to find the real mastermind behind this? Although I will take action as soon as I get back to the country. I really hoped that you would have taken responsibility over the whole matter but sadly you didn't," concluded the actress.
