Bangladesh Police Women Network (BPWN) honoured renowned actor Mehazabien Chowdhury for her recent Eid release, "Alo", where she played the character of a sergeant. BPWN expressed their respect to the cast and crew of the television production, for beautifully portraying the daily struggles of female police officers. Mehazabien is also the scriptwriter of "Alo".

Amena Begum the DIG of BPWN, Protection, and Protocol Special Branch, presented a crest to Mehazabien herself.

"'Alo' changed the views of many and highlighted the struggles of a female officer in front of the audience," mentions Amena Begum. "I have spoken to Mehazabien and we plan to discuss many more challenges together in the future."

"While working on 'Alo', I did not expect to catch BPWN's attention and get such positive responses from them," shares Mehazabien. "However, the respect and honour they have shown us today is a humble experience for any artiste. This will motivate me to work on more aspects of police officers."

Mehazabien was inspired to write the story of "Alo" in 2019. She came up with it while she was stuck in a traffic jam. She noticed a policewoman quarrelling with a pick-up driver on the road. The driver was ignoring the sergeant just because she was a female. "Alo" has been well-received by the audience.
