Ayra is my Eid priority: Mithila

Rafiath Rashid Mithila is a celebrated actress in both sides of the border. She informs that she will be celebrating this Eid-ul-Fitr, in Dhaka. "Hopefully, I will get to spend the day with family and friends," shares the singer turned actress.

For Mithila, the most exciting thing during the occasion is getting her daughter Ayra dressed up for the day. "Ayra will get new clothes from her grand-parents, uncle, aunts," shared the "Omanush" actress. "Ayra loves putting mehendi, and usually she is the most excited about 'chaand raat', because she gets to put on mehendi." While sharing her daughter's excitement, Mithila reminisces about her childhood. "The excitement about the new clothes for Eid, the 'Eidi' hunt, running around with cousins and friends in the neighborhood—I miss all of those! Eid during childhood was the best."

Mithila looks forward to having feast with delicious foods cooked by her mother. "We plan to meet our extended family latter part of the day," she added.

The actress spoke about her grandmother (dadi), who passed away a few months ago. "This will be the first Eid without my dadi," said Mithila. "I will miss her so much."

Her upcoming project, a web-series, "Myself Allen Swapan", directed by Shihab Shaheen, will be releasing on Chorki. "I wish my audience a healthy and fun Eid, and don't forget watching my next web-series."
