Alia, Ranbir Kapoor, and Shah Rukh collaborate together, fans call it ‘dream cast'
A renowned steel brand, endorsed by Bollywood power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, along with the addition of Shah Rukh Khan, has released its latest commercial on the occasion of Ranbir Kapoor's birthday. This new advertisement has caught the attention of fans as its background score seems to be inspired by Shah Rukh Khan's recent action thriller blockbuster, "Jawan."
In this fresh commercial from the popular steel brand, the trio of stars is introduced with a track clearly inspired by the "Jawan" theme, originally composed by Anirudh Ravichander and performed by Grammy Award-nominated rapper Rajakumari.
The three actors come together in matching black outfits, holding the brand's steel rods, and recite the brand's tagline in unison.
The steel brand's official Instagram handle captioned the ad with, "Picture abhi baki hai" (The film isn't over yet), hinting that there might be a longer version of the ad in the works. This famous line is borrowed from Shah Rukh's 2007 film, "Om Shanti Om," directed by Farah Khan.
While these three actors have shared the screen with each other individually, they have never appeared together in a film. Ranbir and Alia starred opposite each other in Ayan Mukerji's hit supernatural film, "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva," last year. Alia has worked with Shah Rukh in Gauri Shinde's 2016 coming-of-age film, "Dear Zindagi." Shah Rukh had a scene with Ranbir in his cameo for Karan Johar's 2016 romantic film, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil." Interestingly, Shah Rukh also had an extended cameo in "Brahmastra" but didn't share the screen with Alia or Ranbir.
Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming project is "Dunki," while Alia Bhatt has announced "Jigra" as her next film. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will star in "Animal," the teaser of which was released yesterday on his birthday.
