Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’ teaser out

Akshay Kumar recently, surprised the fans by dropping a tantalising teaser for his upcoming project, "Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue". After "Kesari", the audience will once again see Akshay and Parineeti Chopra pair up in this new project.

Taking to his social media accounts, Akshay Kumar shared the teaser for the film. He captioned, "In 1989, one man showed courage and conviction that saved lives! Watch the story of Bharat's true hero with 'Mission Raniganj' in cinemas on October 6."

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, "Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue" features the true story of the late Jaswant Singh Gill, an engineer who saved 65 miners trapped in the coal mine of Raniganj Coalfield after a devastating accident back in 1989. 

The film also stars Rajesh Sharma, Gaurav Prateek, Pawan Malhotra, Kumud Mishra, Lankesh Bhardwaj and Dibyendu Bhattacharya amongst others. "Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue" is slated to hit the theatres this October 6.
