Aishwarya Rai stuns on Cannes 2023 red carpet

Actress Aishwarya Rai made a stunning entry at the 76th Cannes Film Festival yesterday,  leaving fans and netizens in awe with her incredible ensembles. Her first look, a shimmery green kaftan gown and enormous heels, set the internet abuzz. A few hours later, Aishwarya walked the red carpet, donning an oversized metallic cape and gown that further captivated attention.

The photos of Aishwarya at Cannes went viral instantly, igniting a heated debate among netizens. On one side, a section of fans hailed her as the undisputed queen of Cannes, admiring her fashion choices. However, another faction of internet users couldn't resist mocking her outfits. The mixed responses led to online trolls targeting the actress, with comments ranging from sarcastic jabs to humorous comparisons.

One internet user cheekily remarked, "Last minute fashion from mom, bringing tin foil from the kitchen," while another wrote, "A blanket in the heat, not a good idea".

Beyond the Cannes extravaganza, Aishwarya Rai's recent work includes her appearance in Mani Ratnam's epic film, "Ponniyin Selvan Part Two." 

Meanwhile, other Indian celebrities like Sara Ali Khan, Guneet Monga, Vijay Varma, and Esha Gupta are also attending the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The 76th edition of the festival, taking place in Cannes at the French Riviera, commenced on May 16 and will continue until May 27.
