'1971 Shei Shob Din' to release in Australia

Hridi Huq's directorial film, "1971 Shei Shob Din", based on the story written by her father, Dr Enamul Haque, was released on August 18. It has been running successfully for four weeks now. 

Now, Australian audiences will soon have the opportunity to experience the emotional rollercoaster of "1971 Shei Shob Din" as it prepares for its release in Australia on Sunday. 

Kamruzzaman Rony, the executive producer and chief assistant director of the film, enthusiastically confirmed this news to The Daily Star. "The good news for Australian viewers is that the Liberation War-based movie '1971 Shei Shob Din' will be screening on September 10. We are thrilled about this development," he shared.

Director Hridi Huq, the creative force behind the film, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming response it has received thus far. She commented, "Everyone who has seen the movie so far has given it a lot of praise. Many viewers cried. The international release is truly a joyful milestone." 

Tareen praised the growing interest in Liberation War cinema amongst the audience, saying, "Undoubtedly, it's good news for all of us. It's heartening to witness the audience's keen interest and love for films that honour our nation's history." 

Renowned actor Ferdous, who played a significant role in the film, echoed similar sentiments. He shared, " '1971 Shei Shob Din' is a labour of love, and we are deeply touched by the outpouring of affection from the audience. The news of its international release adds another layer to this joy."
