11 years of Bappy Chowdhury

The festive spirit is in full swing as Durga Puja, as the grand celebration paints Dhaka in vibrant colors and resounding cheers. It's also the season when Dhallywood star Bappy Chowdhury, spends his vacation, visiting multiple districts of the country.

This October also marks a special milestone for Bappy - 11 years in the film industry. His cinematic journey began with the movie "Bhalobashar Rong", where he shared the screen with Mahiya Mahi. Since that debut, Bappy has graced the silver screen consistently. The actor is currently taking a well-deserved break during the Puja holidays, cherishing the free time.

Bappy enthusiastically shared his Puja plans, exclaiming, "There's no greater delight than strolling through the streets, enjoying the festivities with friends during the Puja holidays. It has become an annual tradition for me. This year is no exception; I have exciting plans. I intend to visit various districts."

He elaborated on his travel plans, "During this Puja vacation, my itinerary includes Cumilla, Narsingdi, Jashore, and, of course, visiting some local puja mandaps in my hometown of Narayanganj."

But what drives the actor to travel to these districts during the holidays? Bappy replied, "I visit the districts because I genuinely enjoy them. Throughout the year, my schedule is packed with shooting commitments, leaving me little time to explore. The Puja season brings a unique sense of tranquillity. It's a time when I can relish a different kind of peace."

He continued, "Interacting with my fans in these districts is a special experience. The connection is unparalleled. Their sincerity and affection resonate directly with me. There's no joy quite like it."

Talking about Jessore, Bappy's eyes lit up. He declared, "Jessore is one of the grandest places for Puja celebrations in Bangladesh. The sheer magnitude of the crowd that gathers there is incredible. I have been visiting Jessore for few years now."

He also shared fond memories of Comilla, saying, "I have my grandfather in Comilla, and I'll be visiting his house. The warm hospitality I've always received there has left a lasting impression."

As for Narayanganj Puja, Bappy assured that it has a rich history and emphasized the peaceful nature of the celebrations. "Narayanganj's Puja festivities have a legacy, and this year will be no different," he affirmed.

Speaking about the broader significance of the Puja festival, Bappy stated, "The joy of Puja is universal; it transcends all boundaries. I wish for peace and serenity to prevail everywhere."

The seasoned actor also took a moment to reflect on his remarkable career, sharing, "This month marks 11 years in my journey as an actor. It's a significant milestone that fills me with pride and joy. The love and support I received from the audience since my very first movie is truly heartwarming. I aspire to work like this in the future too."
