During his short acting career, Sushant Singh Rajput rejected a few the films that eventually went on to be superhits. Let's find out details of those movies, on his second death anniversary.

"RamLeela", "Bajirao Mastani", and "Padmaavat"

During the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Mumbai police interrogated Sanjay Leela Bansali. It was then learned that Sushant had rejected offers for three major films from the director: "RamLeela", "Bajirao Mastani" and "Padmaavat". He had rejected the offers as he had a very busy schedule back then. Later on, Ranveer Singh went on to act in these movies, and all three saw major success.

"Half girlfriend"

In 2015, Chetan Bhagat had tweeted that Sushant would be a part of the movie "Half Girlfriend", which is based on one of his novels. However, in the end, Sushant was replaced by Arjun Kapoor, due to scheduling conflicts, which resulted in Sushant having to leave the movie.

"Fitur"

Sushant was the first choice to play the role of Noor in Abhishek Kapoor's "Fitur". However, the delay in shooting forced the actor to withdraw from the project. Later, Aditya Roy Kapur took over the role.

"Hasee Toh Phasee"

Anurag Kashyap had mentioned that he had contacted Parineeti Chopra as well as Sushant Singh Rajput for his movie "Hasee Toh Phasee". But, as Sushant had signed a contract with the Yash Raj Films for three movies, the actor had to pass up the opportunity. Later Sidharth Malhotra took on the role.

"Mukkabaaz"

Before the release of "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story", Anurag Kashyap, in 2016, had offered Sushant a role in his movie "Mukkabaaz". However, the filmmaker said that after Dhoni was a hit, Sushant never called him again. Later, Anurag gave the role to Vineet Kumar Singh.
