‘Khalamoni’ Ferdausi Rahman returns with ‘Esho Gaan Shikhi’

Since the pandemic hit the country, Ekushey Padak awardee and eminent singer Ferdausi Rahman made sure to be safe and stay indoors, maintaining all health protocols. For a long time, she avoided social gatherings.

The musical icon has finally appeared in front of the camera with BTV's popular programme "Esho Gaan Shikhi", which has been running for more than 5 decades.

Ferdausi Rahman is recognised as "Gaaner Khalamoni", for being the face of the show.

Last Wednesday, the artiste completed shooting for four episodes of the critically acclaimed musical programme, with 11 kids. Ever since BTV premiered the show in 1964, it was hosted by her. Puppets Mithu and Monty from the show are two highlights of the programme, beloved by all.
