Bangladeshi rappers Tabib and Rana have been on the receiving end of an onslaught of success. Mahmud Hasan Tabib recently shared the news of them producing a song for Bollywood. The song has already been released on an OTT platform.

A web series, named "Kaala", has been released on the popular Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform in India, where the song titled "Chap Nai" by Tabib and Rana will be featured. Interestingly, the team behind the series first expressed interest in this particular song, which was produced almost two years ago.

In this regard, Tabib told the media that the production team contacted him six months ago. Once the duo heard the script, they altered the song in several places and then submitted it to "Kaala".

The musician expressed his excitement at getting his song released on a big platform and said that he initially refused to accept any honourarium for the song. However, the duo was compulsorily paid Rs 50,000 for "Chap Nai".

Bejoy Nambiar directed and produced the crime-thriller series "Kaala", which was released in September. It stars Avinash Tiwary, Rohan Vinod Mehra, Nivetha Pethuraj amongst others.

Tabib, who used to be a student at Dhaka University, and Rana, who used to be a street vender, came into the limelight after they collaborated for the song "Ami Rana Gully Boy".

They then became popular by singing about various irregularities in society, using the rap genre. Their song "Chap Nai" was released in 2021.
