Selena Gomez unfollows Zayn Malik, fans go crazy

Amidst the rumours that something was brewing between Zayn Malik and Selena Gomez, the "Love You Like a Love Song" baby did the most unusual thing. 

Selena unfollowed Zayn Malik, Gigi and Bella Hadid from Instagram despite having no problem with them.

"There are absolutely no hard feelings with anyone she unfollowed," a source exclusively tells PEOPLE. 

Nonetheless, Malik unfollowed Gomez after hearing that she had unfollowed him. He was still following Gomez the day before. He is no longer following her account as of this afternoon.

Fans also pointed out that he archived all of his Instagram photographs, thus he presently has no posts. For what it's worth, he never displayed any images of himself with Gomez.

Rumours were rife that the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star and Malik, both 30, were dating, but the relationship was never confirmed.

Reports that Malik and Gomez's romantic relationship caused problems with Hadid were debunked in March. Malik's ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter Khai, a source informed Us Weekly at the time, didn't mind him and Gomez seeing each other.
