‘Nazrul Festival 2023’ begins tomorrow

Tomorrow marks to be an exciting day for Nazrul Sangeet lovers, as the "Nazrul Festival 2023" will kick off at Gulshan Lake Park.

Organised jointly by Bangladesh Nazrul-Sangeet Songstha, High Commission of India in Dhaka, as well as the Gulshan Society. The festival will be held on February 3 and 4, from 5 pm to 10 pm.

The event will be inaugurated by the State Minister for Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh KM Khalid. The Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma, the CEO of HSBC Bank Bangladesh, Md Mahbub ur Rahman, the president of Gulshan Society, Dr. A.T.M Shamsul Huda, and the Director General of Bangla Academy, Mohammad Nurul Huda, amongst others will be present at the event.

"Nazrul Festival 2023" will feature noted artistes from both Bangladesh and India. Besides Nazrul Sangeet, the audience will also get to enjoy dance performances, recitals, and discussions at the event.

The second and final day of the festival will be inaugurated by the Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni. Moreover, festival-goers will get to enjoy Nazrul Sangeet recordings collected from 125 artistes, which will be released on YouTube on the occasion of the festival.

"Nazrul Festival 2023" invitations are available at the Gregorian Club, Gulshan from 12 pm to 10 pm and in Drik ICT Ltd, Dhanmondi from 10 am to 6 pm, for free. Fans can also enjoy a live telecast of the event on Maasranga Television.
