Indalo’s ‘Kokhon Kibhabe Ekhane Ke Jane’ strikes a chord with listeners

Fresh off the success for "Hobeki?", the first release from Indalo's upcoming album, "Uttor Khujchi Dokkhine", the band's new single, "Kokhon Kibhabe Ekhane Ke Jane", was released on their official YouTube channel recently.

Produced by Swami Ma Banyan and Indalo, the song is penned by Zubair Hasan. It was recorded at SAAL Studio, Studio Neel Poddo, and Bedroom Pop Studio by Rakat Zami, Anaan, Mehedi Hasan Nil, and Swami Ma Banyan.

The band currently features guitarist and vocalist Jon Kabir from rock band Black, guitarist Zubair Hasan, bassist Bart Nandit Areng, and drummers Quazi Farhan and Dio Haque of Nemesis.

"We are just a band that enjoys playing music to the fullest without worrying about the consequences. We hope to remain that way," shares Jon Kabir.

"Kokhon Kibhabe Ekhane Ke Jane" was released with an unconventional music video, directed by Reehan Rahman. Featuring the band members in unique costumes, the production beautifully incorporates artworks by Samia Rashid Hai, MadArt, contributing to the theme of 'broken-monotony', radiating incoherence.

"The credit goes to Reehan," says Jon Kabir. "He just wanted us to have a good time while shooting and that's what helped him capture the best of our moments."

Indalo began their journey with the album "Chobi". While the song managed to raise expectations for the band, the video, featuring the famed Black singer Jon Kabir in a bathrobe, won over the audience.

"We were asked to pick up our own costumes, and I chose to wear my bathrobe. I wore it the most in the pandemic, and I am very comfortable in it. Wearing the bathrobe feels like home," laughs Jon.

Alongside "Uttor Khujchi Dokkhine", Jon Kabir has been working on his first solo album. "I am working on both the albums simultaneously, and look to release them soon," he mentions. "Shukhi Manusher Kanna" The first song of Jon Kabir's solo album was released in June.

Indalo looks to release the full album as soon as the pandemic subsides. "Music is always more important to us. We would rather focus on the musicality than the video, but I am happy that everyone's imagination aligned, and we were happy to get positive remarks for both the song and the video," concludes Jon Kabir.
