On May 4th, 2022, Big Hit Music revealed that South Korean sensation, BTS, will be coming back with a much-awaited new album titled "Proof" on June 10th, 2022, just three days before their ninth debut anniversary.

As revealed earlier on Weverse, a global fan community platform, the anthology album will embody the history of BTS, chronicling their struggles, triumphs, and journey so far as the members look back on their humble past, glamorous present, and hopeful future.

The album will consist of 48 songs divided between 3 CDs, including tracks from their previous much-beloved albums like "Run", "DNA", "Fake Love", "Life Goes On", "Dynamite", "ON", "Boy With Luv", "Butter", and more.

They will also include some solo and sub-unit songs by the members- "Epiphany", "Seesaw", "Singularity", "Filter", "Euphoria", and "Moon", etc. While some of the song titles may be familiar to long-time fans, most of the songs in the album are going to be previously unreleased remixes and demos. The album will also include three completely new songs, titled "Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)", "Run BTS", and "For Youth", the last of which will be the only song from disk 3 of the album to be available on digital music platforms. As well as two new songs, "Young Love" and "Quotation Mark", exclusively available only on the CD version.

The first CD will chronicle BTS's journey, the second will reflect on each member's personal music taste and style, and the third is dedicated to their fans, ARMY. There'll be something for both new and old fans, as we go on the journey of self-exploration and growth with BTS.

From the revealed track lists so far, one of the songs which have the fans most excited was previously released only on Soundtrack, titled "Born Singer", a remake of J. Cole's "Born Sinner" (2013), which BTS dedicated to their fans for always being there for them throughout their tumultuous journey from broke artistes to world-famous superstars.

With their fans' unwavering support and their extensive diverse discography, BTS is following the paths of legends like The Beatles, Queen, and Jackson 5, by creating an anthology album.

Being one of the first anthology K-Pop albums ever, the album will cement their name as legendary artists in history, paving the way for future artists.

The album title, "Proof," has dual connotations: it alludes to BTS' Korean name, Bangtan Sonyeondan, which translated to English means "Bulletproof Boy Scouts," as well as proof to all the people who question why BTS is such a contemporary global phenomenon.

Last year, during BTS's "Permission to Dance On Stage" Los Angeles concert, the group's leader, Kim Namjoon, addressed their fans, saying, "You guys are the proof of our existence, our value, our breath, our love, our peace. For everything, you guys are our proof! So, we were the bullet, you guys were our proof! So, we're now truly bulletproof!" In hindsight, he was giving us a teaser of the album name through his speech and dedicating the album to the fans who have supported BTS through thick and thin.

This will also likely be BTS's last full-length album before the members have to enlist in the South Korean military as part of their service mandated by the Korean government.

This album will mark the end of an era, and the beginning of a brand new one in BTS's rising career, and fans cannot wait to see what they come up with next.
