Gems of Nazrul honours national poet on his death anniversary

To commemorate the 47th death anniversary of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Gems of Nazrul will launch their 29th production at the stroke of midnight on August 27 on Channel i.

The musical production will also be available on their social media and YouTube channel. With nearly 50 artistes, the musical experience promises to capture the rural essence of Bangladesh, as reflected in the rebel poet's songs.

Gems of Nazrul's primary objective is to raise more awareness among the younger generation about Nazrul's ideology, philosophy, and artistic masterpieces.

Sadya Afreen Mallick, a Nazrul Award-winning singer, serves as the spokesperson for this endeavour.
