Today, Korean music composer and singer Jung Dae Wook—better known by his stage name Bobby Jung—has been sentenced to one year of prison and a five-year employment ban by Seoul Western District, for illegally filming a woman, while she was nude, without her consent.

Collaborating with famed Korean bands like BTS and Tomorrow X Tomorrow, Bobby has composed many hit songs including "I'm Fine", "Filter", "Home", "Dream Glow", "Way Home", "Roller Coaster", "20cm", and many more.

Back in May 2020, the composer had already faced charges of illegally filming and sexually assaulting women, who later committed suicide. But the prosecutors had dismissed the case on earlier on January 2022.

According to the court's final verdict today, in regards to the new allegations, "Jung filmed victim A's body illegally, without consent, and the victim is experiencing significant mental shock and humiliation. While the victim's side is requesting severe punishment for Jung's action, Jung did not demonstrate an attitude of reflection. Taking into account that Jung did not distribute this footage to anyone, and that he has no similar offense, Jung is hereby sentenced to one year in prison."

Bobby was only given a one-year prison term as there was insufficient evidence to make this a sexual harassment suit.
