Billboard Music Awards: BTS breaks record of Destiny’s Child with most wins

Popular K-pop band BTS created history after scoring three awards and breaking the record of Destiny's Child, at the Billboard Music Awards 2022.

They now have 12 Billboard Music Awards in total, breaking Destiny's Child's record of 11 wins.

The K-pop band has also broken the record of the highest number of nominations for a group or duo. They have been nominated seven times in six categories at the Billboard Music Awards.

BTS, who skipped the event to work on their upcoming album, won three awards including Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist and Top Selling Song for "Butter".
