Tamralipi is one of the most popular publication houses in the country with books for students, children and young adults. Besides novels, a number of books are available for aspirants to the Math Olympiad competition.
Tamralipi has published around 12 books penned by famed author Muhammad Zafar Iqbal. Under its production, two of his books “Padartha Bigganer Prothom Path” and “Bappar Bandhu” are available at this year's Ekushey Book Fair.
For this year, Tamralipi has published 60 books, including “Shimar Majhe Ashim Tumi” penned by Justice Mohammad Habibur Rahman; “Ekti Shonamoni” by litterateur Selina Hoassain; “Chhobi Soboi Tomar” by Hayat Mahmud; novel “Bhalo Laga Ebong Bahlobashar Golpo” by Anisul Haque; “Media Bichitra” by Muhammad Jahangir and “Bhuter Magic”  by Rakib Hasan.
Tamralipi has published 300 books so far. It embarked on its journey with the publication of books on Mathematics and Science. It also published several books on Bangladesh Math Olympiad.
“Students have picked up many books published by Tamralipi. While mathematics was a tough subject for them earlier, thanks to the books they now enjoy the subject”, said Tamralipi's publisher AKM Tariqul Islam Roni.
The publisher is optimistic about the Boimela as it is an event where a large number of readers and writers can freely mingle. He was also happy that the larger part of the fair is located at Suhrawardy Uddyan this year.
Likewise he is pleased at the soaring sales of books at the fair. Besides other writers, the sale of Zafar Iqbal's book has increased this year, he said. He wished the fair every success.
