Drizzle may continue till evening

The springtime drizzling that caused the suffering of city dwellers from last couple of days may be gone by this evening, according to Met office.
The precipitation which began Saturday is the consequence of an extension of low in the West Bengal, a Met official said.
Today it was raining a bit heavier than the last two days and the city dwellers have experience a dark and cloudy sky which Bangladesh Meteorological Department described as quite natural in late winter.
Eight millimetres of rain was recorded in the capital in last 24 hours till 6:00am today, said an official of the Met office.
City people were sufferings on the streets as most of the roads became muddy due to the construction of several flyovers and the beautification work of the city are underway, ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Dhaka is experiencing huge gridlocks since morning due to slow movement of vehicles.
A number of vehicles particularly the three-wheelers were seen breaking down on different roads enhancing the public sufferings.
The public transports have been charging extra fare from the school and office-goers following the rain.
Asked about the weather that became chiller with gusty wind, the Met official said the temperature will start to rise when the sun shines tomorrow.  
The minimum temperature was recorded 17 mms at 6:00am, according to the Met office.
The highest rainfall was recorded in Chuadanda at 36 mm till 6:00am today while Mongla is in second position as with 34 mms rainfall.
No signal however was hoisted at sea or river ports.
