Dhaka win women's kabaddi title

Dhaka emerged champions in the Marcel LED Television Inter-District Women's Kabaddi Championship with a 23-16 win over Narail in the final at the Volleyball Stadium yesterday.
In the third place-deciding match, Jamalpur beat Panchagarh 41-23.
Shahnaz Parveen Maleka of Dhaka was adjudged the best player of the tournament while Sharmin Sultana Rima of Narail was named the player of the final.
Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Abdul Latif Siddique witnessed the final and distributed prizes among the winners.
