POETRY

from it, poetry arrives

DESIGN: MAISHA SYEDA

bits and pieces of her day

get stuck in her hair

she carries grief quietly

as one breathes, she only knows it

when she really thinks of it; she thinks about

where poetry lives

every morning then every night when she goes home-

as she contains moving scenes of

a market street; the shuffling worries possessing bodies of anyone and everyone

or return on investment broken down into basic needs.

there is poetry for grief and from it, poetry arrives.
