Cylinder blast kills 4 at Ctg shipbreaking yard

At least four workers were killed in a cylinder explosion at a shipbreaking yard in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong this afternoon.
A cylinder full of carbon dioxide suddenly went off at the yard around 3:30pm, said Kamrul Hasan, an inspector of Department of Inspection for Safeties of Shops and Establishments.
He added the four died on spot, reports our Chittagong correspondent.
The deceased -- Md Jashim, Md Faruk, Arif and Gias Uddin – were workers of SH Steel Enterprise of Kadamrasul.
