Cultural programmes and art camp on Tagore

To mark the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) has organised an eight-day artworks exhibit and art camp, and three-day cultural programmes. The exhibit, at the Gallery 2 of the National Art Gallery, opened on May 8 and will remain open from 11am-7pm till May 22.
Meanwhile, discussions and cultural programmes are being held every day under the initiative of the music and dance department of BSA. The opening ceremony was held on May 8 at the National Theatre Hall where State Minister for Public Administration, Ismat Ara Sadek was present as chief guest.  Dr. Hayat Mamud and Akhter Kamal attended as discussants, while Sohrab Uddin, director of the department, gave the welcome address.
Today's cultural programmes will be held at the music and dance centre auditorium from 6:30pm.
