Body of 16-year-old newly-wed found in Kushtia

Police today recovered the body of a newly-wed 16-year-old from her in-laws' house in Jorarpur village of Kumarkhali in Kushtia.

She was identified as Rima, 16, who was married to Piash, 18.

The couple got married only ten days ago, their family members said.

Officer-in-Charge of Kumarkhali Police Station Mojibur Rahman said the body has been sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Cause of the death will be known after getting the post-mortem report, he said.
