31 arrested in Jhenaidah for trying to illegally enter India

Members Border Guard Bangladesh this morning arrested 31 people from different villages of Moheshpur upazila's border region in Jhenaidah, while they were trying to illegally enter India from Bangladesh.

A case was filed against the arrestees and they were handed over to Moheshpur Police Station, said 58-BGB Battalion's Assistant Director Nazrul Islam, according to our local correspondent.

Among the arrestees, two were arrested from Ekashipara village, three from Balughora village of Natore district and the rest from Kanchanpur village under the 58-BGB's Baghadanga BOP, said a BGB press release.
