Youth shot dead in B'baria

Police recovered the bullet-hit body of an unidentified youth aged around 38 years from Digirjan area alongside Kasaba-Akhaura road on Saturday morning.

Officer-in-Charge of Akhaura Police Station Mosarraf Hossain Tarafder said there were four bullet injuries on the victim's chest.

The body was sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital morgue. An unnatural death case was filed in this connection, the OC added.

Moniando Union Parishad Member Firoz Mia said criminals might have brought him there and shot him.
