Youth held with 19kgs of gunpowder in Chapainawabganj

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested one youth along with 19 kilogrammes of gunpowder in Sadar upazila of Chapainawabganj tonight.

The arrestee Mohammad Mithun, 25, is the son of Shariful Islam of Suryanarayanpur village in the district.

On secret information, a team of Rab-5 went to Shibirer More area of Sundarpur village around 8:30pm and arrested Mithun with the explosive material, our Chapainawabganj correspondent reports quoting Enamul Karim, assistant superintendent of police (ASP), of Chapainawabganj Rab camp.
