World Vision closes activities in Haluaghat

For nearly a half of a century, World Vision Bangladesh has improved the health status, nutrition and education rate in Haluaghat upazila by implementing different development programmes.

The speakers at a cultural programme thanked the non-governmental organisation (NGO) for its role in developing the livelihood of the backward community for the last 44 years, marking the closure of its activities in the upazila.

They also appreciated the organisation for its support and contributions for the rural economic development.

The NGO started its work in Haluaghat in 1972.
