World Bank hands over 2 cars to customs

Days after Bangladesh sought info of some tax-free cars of World Bank, the global lender today handed two vehicles over to customs authorities.

A protocol officer handed over the two vehicles this morning, Moinul Khan, director general of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate, said.

The handover came five days after the customs office sought information from the World Bank about 16 of its vehicles brought in Bangladesh under a duty-free facility.
