Worker's body found floating in pond

The body of a man, who went missing on Saturday, was recovered from a pond in Dapunia area of the town yesterday.

The deceased was Saiful Islam, 40, son of late Amanullah of Langaljora area in the town. He was an employee of a welding workshop in New Bus Stand area.

Saiful went to the workshop as usual on Saturday morning and left the workplace in the evening. He had been missing since then, police said quoting Ripon Miah, elder brother of Saiful.

Locals found Saiful's body floating in the pond yesterday.
