[Watch] Masked robbers raid jewellery and escape safely

Armed robbers looted 150 Bhori of gold ornaments from a jewellery shop last night and the whole episode was recorded on CCTV camera.

The robbers raided Meghna Jewelers at Bangla Engineering Market of Mojib Shorok Niltoly in Faridpur town around 8:30pm, reports a correspondent.

The robbers are seen ravaging the shop and grabbing jewellery from left and right and shoving them inside a bag. In the end, one of the robbers, sensing that his cohorts have left him makes a somewhat comical escape.

Later on the day, Basudav Karmoker, the owner of the shop filed a case against 7 unknown robbers with Kotoali Police Station.

“We are trying to arrest the robbers,” said Md Najid Uddin, office-in-charge of the police station.

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Jamil Hasan and Additional Superintendent of Police Md Kamarujaman of Faridpur visited the spot.
