Waiting for Salauddin’s execution: Prafulla

Prafulla Chandra Singha, son of Nutan Chandra Singha, who was murdered by Salauddin in 1971, said he is waiting for the execution of death penalty of his father’s killer.

“This is the verdict I had expected for a long time. Now I am waiting for the quick execution of the verdict,” he told our Chittagong correspondent.

The Supreme Court today upheld the death penalty of Salauddin Quader Chowdhury in four charges for his crimes against humanity and genocide during the country’s Liberation War in 1971.

The charges include the killing of Nutan, a philanthropist of the Hindu Community in Raozan.
