Unidentified woman found dead

An unidentified woman, aged around 45, was found dead in a paddy field at Kobirpur village under Kaijuri union in Sadar upazila of the district around 5:00pm on Wednesday.

Sub-Inspector of Sadar Police Station Ashim Kumar Biswas said they recovered the body and sent it to Faridpur Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Police suspect that the victim might have been strangled by criminals. She was buried at Alipur graveyard in Faridpur town.
