Two electrocuted

Two men were electrocuted in Natore and Gaibandha districts yesterday. A gardener of Bangladesh Television sub-station in Natore died from electrocution at noon. The deceased is Jabed Ali, 52, reports our correspondent. Delwar Hossain, in-charge of BTV sub-station in the district, said Delwar came in contact with a live electric wire while he was cleaning the flower garden inside the sub-station. He was rushed to Natore Sadar Hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead. In Gaibandha, a labourer was electrocuted at Dhaperhat cane procurement center in Sadullapur upazila, reports our correspondent. The victim is Kanai Chandra Sarker, 20, of Palanpara village. He came in contact with a snapped wire when he was working at the construction house of one Biplob Pramanik in the area. He was rushed to the upazila health complex where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
