Training on fashion design begins

Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) yesterday started a five-day training programme on 'fashion design' at Manab Kalyan Parishad Training Centre in the town to help the local female entrepreneurs.

A total of 30 female entrepreneurs from different areas of the district are taking part in the programme.

District Women's Affairs Officer Morshed Ali Khan inaugurated the event as the chief guest, while District Social Welfare Officer Hasmat Ali Jowardar and Chairman of Jatya Mahila Sangstha Monwara Chowdhury attended the programme as special guests.

BWCCI organised the event with the financial support of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Foundation. 

The speakers at the programme said such training can help the women entrepreneurs' to develop their skills and run their businesses successfully.
