Tk 3.25cr Indian fish seized

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 100 tonnes of Indian Rui fish worth about Tk 3.25 crore from Amrakhali area in Sharsha upazila of Jessore district on Wednesday. On secret information, the border guards raided the area and seized the fish. However, the smugglers managed to flee the scene, sensing the presence of the BGB men. A case was filed in this connection, said Lt Col M Jahangir Hossain of BGB-26 Battalion.
