Teachers to hold nat’l convention to fight militancy tomorrow

In the wake of recent militant attacks across the country, teachers will hold a national convention in Dhaka tomorrow.

For the first time, more than 700 primary- to university-level teachers from 23 associations across the country will join the assembly at the national museum at Shahbagh around 10:30am tomorrow.

Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers Association announced the programme at a press conference held at the teachers’ club at Dhaka University this morning.
